James Kirby, Stirlin's owner, expressed his delight and hopes the scheme will foster strong business relationships, idea-sharing, and improved productivity.

According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the £16m enterprise zone is called “the heart of the UK food valley," with the first phase opening in 2022.

The new units, covering over 22,000 sq ft (2,044 sq m), will provide two-story hybrid office and warehouse space for start-ups and established brands in the agri-food and food manufacturing sectors.

Mick King, head of economic infrastructure at Lincolnshire County Council, said the council's investment enabled the creation of a successful business park. He added that the council is pleased to collaborate with the private sector to ensure the enterprise zone's success.
